Updated February 5, 2026

FIFA World Cup 2026 Ticket Lottery Results: What Fans Need to Know Today

Today marks a major milestone for football fans around the world. The FIFA World Cup 2026 ticket lottery results are now being released, following an unprecedented level of demand. With more than 20 million ticket requests submitted globally, this is one of the most competitive ticket ballots FIFA has ever run.

If you applied for tickets, now is the time to check your email carefully. Notifications are being sent out directly by FIFA, and for many fans, the next few days will determine whether they already have seats secured for the biggest sporting event on the planet. We at SafeFootballTickets.com have applied for tickets but unfortunately we were not lucky in the previous stages, hopefully today is different.

How the FIFA World Cup 2026 Lottery Results Work

FIFA is releasing results in phases, starting today. Applicants will fall into one of three categories:

  • Successful application – You will receive an email confirming your ticket allocation, and your registered payment card will be charged automatically.
  • Partially successful application – You may receive some, but not all, of the tickets you requested. This is very common due to high demand.
  • Unsuccessful application – You will not receive a notification email. In this case, no news usually means you were not selected in this round.

It is important to remain patient. Not all emails arrive at the same time, and results may continue to roll out over several days.

Important: Whitelist These FIFA Email Addresses

To avoid missing an important notification, fans are strongly advised to whitelist the following email addresses immediately:

  • no-reply.fwc26@tickets.fifa.org
  • noreply@mail.tickets.fifa.com

You should also check your spam or junk folder daily starting from today, as automated emails can sometimes be filtered incorrectly.

Payment Processing for Successful Applicants

For fans who are successful in the lottery, payment processing will take place automatically during the official payment window. FIFA has confirmed that payments will be processed between 2 February and 23 February 2026.

Ensure that your registered payment card has sufficient funds available and has not expired. Failed payments can result in tickets being released back into the system.

Didn’t Get Tickets? You Still Have Options

Missing out in the lottery does not mean your World Cup journey is over. Several additional sales phases are still to come:

  • 10 February 2026 – Bank of America presale (eligibility required).
  • Spring 2026 – First-come, first-served ticket sales via FIFA.
  • Later in 2026 – Official FIFA Resale Marketplace, allowing fans to buy verified resale tickets.

Many fans ultimately secure tickets through later phases, so persistence is key.
